ability to link projects

Right now you can start an opportunity and link it to projects, or elevate to a project, but we routinely have situations where projects will evolve into new ones or be linked between projects. Example, a client inquires about doing a Financial Plan and executing some trades and doing updates to thier beneficiaries. Ideally we would like to be able to handle each as an individual project but since they are all one and the same inquiry (with compltely different processes and follow up) we would like to be able to link them together so we know the status of all of them when updating the client.

Hello Mark, Thank you for the request. You can use a group as a collector of all connected projects. The projects are linked in the group. It is possible to create a group board in the group with our Boards plugin that contains all tasks of all projects linked to the group. Our controlling tool Time&Budget also works on groups and sums up the recorded times and budget of all linked projects.
