Create New Appointment/Event with Right Click

It would be helpful to have the same system-wide “right-click” action to create a Daylite Appointment in a similar manner to the existing iOSXpert feature that allows for the quick creation of a Daylite, person, company, or note.
Many users would value the ability to highlight/select text in an email or on a website, etc., then right-click that selection to quickly create a new Dayilte Appointment using the date information selected, all without switching to the Daylite Application.

Hello Austin,
If you highlight a text and then select new appointment, what would you expect where the text appears? In the title of the appointment or in the details?
Austin Elliott
Alf Ruppert: My thought is this feature would work two different ways:
#1.) SIMPLEST IMPLEMENTATION:: The text highlight would be the default name of the appointment (for example: Meeting, Call, Zoom Call, Court Hearing, On-Site Visit, etc.)
#2). MORE COMPLEX IMPLEMENTATION: Any highlighted text that is clearly a date & time would automatically be transposed to the Daylite Appointment popup window as that appointment's scheduled time & date. Essentially, this would function the same way as creating an Apple Calendar appointment within Apple mail or even system-wide. When text is clearly formatted as a date and time, macOS provides a dropdown open to create an Apple Calendar event using that time and date.
I realize the probable limitations in any implementation of this aspect of a feature to create a Daylite Appointment quickly. Presumably, the text format would have to be in a particular format for the system to recognize it as a date and time; otherwise, the text could default to the Daylite Appointment's title or details. This happens when this same feature is used to create a Daylite Contact or Company.

Austin Elliott: thanks for the detailed description. We discuss this with our Dev Team.

Alf Ruppert: Alf, I was able to create a crude version of this feature. I would love to show you & the team some time. Perhaps iOSxpert would be able to take my crude implementation and make it into a real feature.

Austin Elliott: Hi Austin, that sounds interesting. We worked on the realization to. I can give you early access if you like. Just contact me via mail: hallo@iosxpert.biz
